Fashionable Friday: Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips
This is the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in Laced Up.
I don't know. I don't really care for them. I put them on last night and I'm not sure if it is showing up in the picture but they are already chipped. My husband says they look like stickers. I think I'll pass on these--especially for the price (which is right around $8)!
Have you tried these yet? What was your experience with them?

I know I promised to blog about the rest of my Bath & Body Works shopping spree. It arrived a few days ago and once it arrived........well, I realized it isn't all that interesting of a haul. I got the body spray/lotion/shower gel in both Sensual Amber and Secret Wonderland. Pics as promised!
On an unrelated note, I painted my nails last night with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail polish in the color Concrete. I love the color and I think it is a great dupe for the well renowned Sephora by OPI color Metro Chic (which I also own and adore). Cheaper options for the win! Oh and I am complete and total rubbish at getting colors to show up accurately in pictures or else I'd swatch and compare. There are tons of fabulous nail polish blogs out there so just google it and I'm positive you can find swatches for both colors.

Halloween OOTD!
Here is my Halloween Outfit of the Day! I didn't dress up...I haven't in years! Since becoming a mom Halloween has been all about the kiddos. So here is my suitable-for-taking-the-kids-trick-or-treating outfit:
There IS a reason I'm in this semi-ridiculous pose. My husband was taking the picture and our daughter was climbing all over him and he was having trouble getting the shot. My quick thinking self (note the sarcasm) pointed out the window and told her to look at the giant squirrel in the front yard (we have really enormous squirrels around here for some reason). It worked! She ran to the window and my hubby got some more shots.A close up shot where you can see the detail of the sweater and also catch a not so great glimpse of my nailpolish (the shade Beetle by Hard Candy). I had to mention the nail polish because I love it! I was inspired by Nouveau Cheap to check out Hard Candy nail polishes after reading her post about them.
*Sweater: Gap
*Jeggings: NY & Co (they call them denim leggings but I prefer the term jeggings! makes me laugh!)
