Mission Stop Being Such a Slacker: FAILED!

BUT in my defense....my baby girl has been sick for the past week. No signs of her getting better so this morning I brought her to the pediatricians office. They gave her a few breathing treatments and that seemed to help some. I have to bring her back this afternoon because they want to check her out and make sure she'll be okay since asthma tends to get worse at night (so true...I'm running on empty since she hasn't been sleeping well the past two nights).

I don't think I did everything I said I wanted to get done in my last post. Hubby certainly didn't help me make a new header yet. I'll get on him about that tonight. I DID paint my fingers and toes though. Fingers=Revlons Perplex and Toes=Essie Fishnet Stockings. Sorry I don't have pictures.....Perplex is a deep purple color and Fishnet Stockings is a bright red (I like to get a little crazy on my toes while keeping my fingers more "on trend").

So one of my new obsessions is the Bath & Body Works wallflowers. I had never tried them before but am all about trying different smell good type stuff for the new house. I ordered them online during the sale (I think they were $6 each) and was super excited when this showed up on my doorstep:
The scents I chose were: Vanilla Caramel, Caramel Apple, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, and Vanilla Bean Noel. (Typing those out made me realize that I'm obviously drawn to the same type of scent--hello vanilla!)

Ordering them online was a bit of a risk since I couldn't smell them but I think I did pretty good. I haven't tried the Vanilla Bean Noel yet and I don't care for the Sweet Cinnamon Pumkin but I love the Vanilla Caramel, Caramel Apple and the Warm Vanilla Sugar. Yum! I am going to try out some of the Bath & Body Works candles since I was so pleased with the wallflowers.

I hope everyone is happy and healthy on this lovely Tuesday! Good thoughts for my baby girl to feel better soon are much appreciated!

I know I promised to blog about the rest of my Bath & Body Works shopping spree. It arrived a few days ago and once it arrived........well, I realized it isn't all that interesting of a haul. I got the body spray/lotion/shower gel in both Sensual Amber and Secret Wonderland. Pics as promised!
On an unrelated note, I painted my nails last night with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail polish in the color Concrete. I love the color and I think it is a great dupe for the well renowned Sephora by OPI color Metro Chic (which I also own and adore). Cheaper options for the win!

Oh and I am complete and total rubbish at getting colors to show up accurately in pictures or else I'd swatch and compare. There are tons of fabulous nail polish blogs out there so just google it and I'm positive you can find swatches for both colors.

BBW.....Times TWO!

This is not like me. I swear. I very rarely shop at Bath & Body Works.....well I admit I was an avid customer back in the mid to late 90s but since then I haven't paid much attention to them.

Until now.

My 7 year old niece Ariana has become obsessed with the PocketBacs...seems they are the thing to have at her school. For the uninformed (which I was until 24 hours ago), the PocketBacs are the little mini antibacterial hand gel things that you can put in the nifty little holders and clip on your backpack/keychain/purse/wherever.

My mom and I were at the mall yesterday and she wanted to pop in to pick some up for my PocketBac obsessed niece along with a few for herself. I couldn't stand to be left out so I picked up some as well! I chose the lilac sparkly holder (which the flash is making look white):

And I got the following hand gels (2 of the Red Velvet ones because those were my favorite....I would have gotten 2 Twilight Woods but I grabbed the last one!):

The sales girls was a good one. She talked me into picking up some Twilight Woods goodies as well!

I also got a great coupon that I promptly used online as soon as I got home from the mall! Bath & Body Works haul times two! Stay tuned for part dos...which will be as soon as the lovely UPS man graces my doorstep!
