Meet the fam!

So it just occurred to me that I haven't done a proper introduction yet! How very rude of me! I'll introduce myself and some other key players of my blog:

So we'll start with me. I'm Alana....pronounced uh-lay-nuh. I always feel the need to say that after I type my name online as I cannot fathom the idea of someone out there in Internet land saying my name wrong in their head. Strange, no?

Anyway, I'm 29 and married to Rick (he's 31 and a computer genius...but then again I suppose I'm biased). We have a son and a daughter. N is our son and he will be 5 in January (even typing that out seems surreal to me...how on earth do I have an almost 5 year old!?!?). Our daughter just turned 2 in October and we'll call her T. We just purchased our first home in September and we are slowly but surely making it our very own. I'm a former teacher turned stay at home mom. I like to shop, craft, read, and spend time online (obviously!). I also love am obsessed with makeup and fashion although I'm not particularly talented at either. In summary, this blog will be about all of the above mentioned things.
