What I'm Reading!

I have been a voracious reader since a young age. My mother really encouraged reading and not only that, she practiced what she preached. I always saw her reading as a child--and actually she still reads quite a bit! 

That being said, I do tend to go in phases with it. When I was in high school and college, there was never a day that I wasn't reading some type of book (for pleasure....school assigned reading didn't count). My reading habit slowed down a bit after I graduated college and was busy with the "real world". Since becoming a stay at home mother in 2006, I have picked the habit back up. Not with the same voracity but I am happy to be back into it.

I like a wide variety of book genres. My favorites are true crime and biographies/memoirs. I also enjoy the typical favorite of 20 something females everywhere: chick lit! 

This week I read (in one day no less) Sliding into Home by Kendra Wilkinson. Next up on the reading agenda: The Kennedy Detail: JFK's Secret Service Agents Break Their Silence and December 8, 1980: The Day John Lennon Died.
